Her fascinating journey from manhood to womanhood began when she was just four years old. "I was never a boy who played with dolls," she says. As Leanne reached her teens her feelings that something was wrong grew. "I was a quiet boy at school," she says. "I wasn't camp and had friends. I even used to fancy girls - but mostly I envied them. I thought it must be wonderful to be able to dress up.
