I have a lot of time on my hands so I like to watch HBO. Has anyone here seen these two films? If not I really recommend them, they're both really powerful true stories. I usually lean towards comedies, but these are among my top favorite films.

Something the Lord Made
QuoteA breakthrough that changed the face of medicine. A unique partnership that broke the rules.
A dramatization of the relationship between heart surgery pioneers Alfred Blalock and Vivien Thomas.

Interesting Flan.  Copied and pasted what you had in to Hurtful's post and it still does not seem to work.

thanks for the info on Temple Grandin it looks really interesting. I just listened to a youtube radio interview with her to see how similar she was compared to Claires interpretation. Temple claims that she did it spot on but I think Claires performance from what I saw in the trailer was a little put on and over the top, in the interview she was very well spoken and well...... different!!!! ... but shall see once I get my hands on it ^_________~

Just tried it again and still it isn't putting it in the OP.  And I have seen the second one.  Very interesting.
