I watched jerry springer show on living channel the other day, he featured a transexual person with relationship probs.
She was seeing this guy who already has a girlfriend.
Well she had her wig pulled off and then the guys girlfriend ridiculed her, followed by the audience. The women in the audience really teared into her and the guys were just laughing along with jerry springer who pretended to be indifferent but was smirking. The girls said things like "you're an Ugly Woman" and one ridiculed her about showing some beard growth. In the end I had enough and changed channel, just wandered how others feel about this.

One other point id like to make, theres lots of talk about passing as the other sex, well for me as you can see from my avatar picture theres no chance of that without "facial feminisation surgery", "lasor hair removal" and probably a number of other procedures which all cost money that the NHS here in the UK wouldnt  pay for.
So for now i'll stick to crossdressing at home untill I feel it's safe to do otherwise.

Jerry Springer's show and all the (many)  gawd awful clones its spawned across the globe...are designed purely to appeal to lowest common denominator (daytime) steerage class viewers....

He and the all other front men/women whom host these shows simply play court jester...to the baying crowd.

Anyone that would be keen to go on... in a sense fully colludes and knows they are exploitation fodder... for that all important reward... 15mins of dubious fame.

Unless they are educationally sub-normal and/or mentally ill (and in many instances this seems to be the case)... in which case the production teams do have a case to answer for.

But the show exists; because it does get viewers.... which means advertisers will be pulled in to...so expect ad breaks pushing cheesie-doodles, high-sugar fizzy drinks...and ambulance chasing lawyer services...

This sort of dehumanising c**p is modern day racism. People who go one these shows are complete fools, unless as said, mentally ill.

Interestingly Jerry Springer has said publicly that he would never watch Jerry Springer types of shows, but he makes them because he is paid to make them.

Here in the states, at least where I live,  if you are total jerk whose  only joy in life it making fun of other people, you are called a "Jerry Springer".

He has another lame show about baggage.  And if you can believe it, it is a dating show. 

I think the most important part about starting your physical transition is hormones and then permanent hair removal on your face. If you 'must' wear a wig then perhaps getting that fixed.  I do not pass %100. I am tall and have some masculine features on my face. I do plan on getting FFS done in the future.

I went full time back in March even though I don't fully pass. This is the thing that terrifies a lot of girls. I just needed to live my life as the gender I identify with. I had no choice. So I just deal with the crap that comes with that.

After I went full time I have become a lot more social. I am actually seeing a guy now (btw, he is 6'8" and enormous - muscular). We were sitting on my couch and were kissing and he reached up and grabbed the hair on the back of my head and pulled me away from him. Then started kissing me again more passionately.  It was very exhilarating!  I totally loved it! This guy makes me feel like a tiny girl. But anyways, in the bedroom, if I were wearing a wig (because I had to) that could have been a frightful experience.

I think it is important to think seriously about what you think you need done and prioritize it. Transitioning from one gender to the other is a huge feat and takes time. By the look in your photo I think at least several sessions of laser hair removal should get you headed in the right direction. It is better to already be on hormones, though, since hormones has an affect on how your hair grows back. Other than that I think your face looks great. I think you are actually VERY cute!

I hope my post doesn't hurt anyone's feelings. It isn't meant to! But there are fairytales and then there is real life. You have to deal with some issues!

Shows like Jerry Springer (... the Phil Donohue show actually) is the reason it took me 20 years to accept who I am.   I was so traumatized because they treated the ladies like freaks of nature, I suppressed everything I am.

I knew I wasn't a freak, and if Transsexual are freaks, I can't be a transsexual, right?    That's what those shows taught me.

So now, at 35, I'm sitting here staring at my body in disgust every morning and spending my lunch hour looking for a therapist to give me a letter for HRT.

Sheesh ... Those shows piss me off.

Jerry Springer is an offense to everyone, IMO.    Crossdressers and Transsexuals, alike!

I want to know what the transgender community thinks about the American jerry springer show and its negative portrayal of transgender people, especially transwomen. Can transpeople ever gain full equal rights and respect from Americans as long as the jerry springer show is still airing? What are your thoughts about those supposed transgender individuals who disgrace themselves on the show for a few tokens? Also, Does the jerry springer show promote hatred of transpeople(Transphobia)?

Not being critical just that TV and movies etc have moved on.

Personally I have no concept about why anyone would watch such programs.

They are rubbish. If we don't watch them they have no viewers and they get cancelled.
