Just a quick one.

Right, So I got an appointment a doc on monday and I can reasonably expect this chain of events to lead to hysto.
I'm on T and have been on T for 253 days.

Those of you who've had hysto a ways after starting T, did you have to go off T before Hysto? How long?
And... well.. anything else ya can give me a heads up about? Stuff I should make a point to ask? (In case I've missed anything.)

I was on daily gel and not out to my doc, so my endo said to stop 2 days prior and restart 2 days after.

If you're on the injectable, where does your shot fall in relation to your surgery date?  If possible I'd try to get a surgery date that fell closer to the end of the shot cycle and get a shot a few days after surgery.

FWIW Dr. Miro likes patients off T for 3 weeks prior to surgery (lower surgery).

Nebido is a 10-14 week shot cycle.
I Have gel and a script for gel, so I opted to "wait" before giving myself the next shot and instead moving over to the gel for a few days until the appointment, just-in-case I "have" to come off T for a few days. Cause if I'd inject, then a couple days later talk to the doc, then "I" have made it so that I "can not" get hysto for another three months, and if I "could" get it sooner otherwise, then that'd be preferred several times over.

Just a question...
Why do docs want us to stop T befor surgery?
Cause personally, I get mindf*** before my next shot, around day 7 and I stay that way until my shot, I do a 10 day cycle.
So going off T for weeks or days prior to surgery would..to say the least...mess with me hardcore mentally. Think on the verge of suicidal thoughts/actions. that's how I get when my T levels are low.
Could going off T prior to surgery be avoided? What are the risks of not stopping it?

I've heard that testosterone, especially with injections, tends to cause internal bleeding complications during surgery.

surgeons want MtF off E and Spiro and similar for 2-6 weeks before surgery too so you guys aren't alone.
