No time to go into details but I finally got called the C word as in Mike Hunt, and the B word several times. I guess the caveat is that this woman was obviously imbalanced. Still it was nice, a sort of coming of age!  >:D ;D ;)

Somebody dropped the C-bomb on you?! :o

Didja drop it right back?  I would've. The B-bomb, too, but that's just me.  I use it all the time, but not on here because I'll get B-slapped for it!  ;)

Ever notice that it's almost okay for a woman to use the b-word to describe another woman, but when a man calls a woman the b-word it's like he's committed blasphemy?

You should've said, "That's Miss C-, to you...B-"!  Then you could've enjoyed it to the fullest, because a defining factor of being a woman is alternating being proud to be a C or B and being offended by it, and then having the audacity to call another woman a C or B right back without any real repercussions!  I do it all the time.

I know that sounds really strange, but I've seen women do this all the time. I even do it all the time. I'll say or do something that I know may tick someone off and then I'll announce, "Wow...I'm such a B!" proudly. But then when the cab driver called me a B, I was so ticked that I questioned his parentage, the size of his manparts and sexual preference in one fell swoop just to try to tick him off as much as he ticked me off.

I know, I know....I'm such a B!  8)

I think I may have been inclined to shoot back with something like " I'm not a C*** yet B**ch, but I'm working on it! "

I was limited as to what I could say because this woman was a "customer" She just kept going on and I responded with body language, she was an African-American woman, most of whom love me once they talk to me but some take an immediate dislike, usually for reasons not having to do with me, they might owe the company money and had had their services dicsonnected, anyway, I just did the little head back and forth bob, which really ticked her off. It was a really comicial situation.

I often tell people oh yeah I mam such a b**** too. Yeah, women are proud to be b*****s. No doubt about it. I told my bf the other day. Yeah I am a b**** but I am your b****. Another thing to do with men, is give them the small penis sign.

A word of caution, transwomen need to be careful with men, I have a real lip on me but I carry an aura that says "you do not want to screw with me' and I have unbeliveable instincts as to what constitutes a possible dangerous situation and what is just play.

.... she was an African-American woman, .....

So what has that got to do with anything, she is a "woman" that's all that matters.

Well, then the fact that she was a woman wouldn't matter either or any other detail. The fact that she was black is very relevant. I have always felt like I was an african-american woman trapped in a white man's body.:) Now I feel like I am an african american woman trapped in a white woman's body. Anyway, later in the paragraph I posted this
QuoteI just did the little head back and forth bob...
This would make no sense if I had had an exchange with another white woman.

African-american women are very, very strong, they must be to put up with the hand they are dealt at least in the culture here in America. Black women know how to talk trash and are shocked when a white woman doesn't recoil in fear. One who doesn't spend a lot of time in "da hood" (I work a lot in the hood) couldn't possibly understand this. BTW most black women I meet consider me a sister, that is high accolade to be given to a white woman. The black men are always calling me mama, I LOVE that! Anyway, it's a black thang, you can't possibly understand.

BTW, in the US, race has to do with almost everything.

I have always felt like I was a gossamer-winged faery trapped in a male body.

Hmmm, I'm not sure how that relates either, lol. I think this race talk is just making me squirm a bit so I'm talking silly.

Looking at your avatar pic, Melissa, there was something about your expression and pose that I couldn't quite put my finger on... but now knowing this about you I can see that's what I was picking up on. :)

Reminds me of how, even though I myself identify (mostly*) with my ethnic background, I feel like a petite person in a >6' body. It's interesting how some of us feel this way about more than just gender.

(*I do have a few hang ups about one specific part but it's not instinctive.)
