Okay, so this is a thread for posting the little things that don't really matter much but ruin your day and make you so ANGRY MAD and feel like the end of the world when they happen because we are over sensitive creatures and sometimes we're silly. Mountains out of mole-hills, you know?

The only rule is that you can't complain about anything big or important. You have to take something little and unimportant and blow it COMPLETELY out of proportion. Extra points if you manage to complain about something that's actually a positive! 

Here is mine: Today I finally picked up my new pair of glasses that I've been saving for and really NEEDING for years, because I can't even see well enough to learn how to drive without them. They are uber cute, beaucoup de sex, and are pink with love-hearts on the sides. Plus, they were even not as expensive as I thought they would be!

I think they might be my soulmate. 

Anyways, so I pick them up and fall head over heels in love. But this afternoon I look in the mirror and see something odd.

They are lopsided!

Oh no!

But wait, that's not the horrible, horrid horror of it! After inspecting the glasses thouroughly, I see that it's not the glasses that are lopsided...It's my face! I have uneven ears! 

I've been upset all evening about it! But what can you do about ears?! Nothing! Oh mon Dieu! It's the end of the world! 

Also, my coffee has gone cold. That's the end of the world too!

It is 3 AM and I am still not asleep.  I am so sick and tired of fighting to go to sleep.  Every night it is a fight to go to sleep.  I lay there and JUMP my stupid leg jerks and I am awake.  Roll over and almost that and JUMP there goes the stupid leg again.

I have tried the RLS pills and they don't work.  Alcohol works, but I feel like crap the next.  The whole day is shot.

All I want is to go to sleep, I am so flippin tired.

Not to get to far off topic, but have you tried Klonopin (Clonazapam)?  I sometimes have pretty bad restless leg syndrome and this medication often helps me, though not always.  Other possibilities are Magnesium and Quinine.  (I really feel for people with this trouble and even did my term paper on the subject for bio of the brain).

I have the same problem too. I've become a master of adjusting glasses so that they at least feel straight on my face. I think a lot of people have the same issue with crooked glasses, our faces aren't symmetrical.

BTW, I think slightly crooked glasses are cute.
