I should be getting my first T shot around friday. I have a few questions for those that are on T.
How long before your voice started to change after first shot?
When did you start to see increased body hair (leg, arms, etc.)?
When did your periods stop?
Have you experienced a change in how you thought about something or become interested in something way outside your interest level?
Has your sexual prefrence changed?
Did you get a confidence boost, less disphoria?
When did you start to notice fat redistribution?
Did you experience weight gain or loss? If so how much?
Have you gained some muscle definition and increased strength?

Sorry for all the questions. It's just that these things don't have set answers. The best way to get info on something like this is to ask someone whose been through it already.

Not helpful here but I'm getting mind the day before! We should keep in touch, maybe I'll be asking you questions and the like since we're starting at the same time.

From the transguys I've met, some had really masculine voices after only a month so that seems to be pretty fast, probably the first change you'll get.

Yeah I've heard a significant drop within a month, and a notice within the first week for voice change.

How long before your voice started to change after first shot?

probably around a week after my first shot it started changing a bit. But exactly 3 weeks and 2 days I had a huge voice drop.

When did you start to see increased body hair (leg, arms, etc.)?

Leg hair probably increased a month or so afterwards(patches that were bare starting to get peach fuzz) and then increased darker hair on my legs and stomach gradually after that. I'm about 9 months and my arm hair is just getting darker.

When did your periods stop?

I had one in my normal cycle a week after my first shot and then none after that.

About 4-5 days after I felt a lot more calm and had less dysphoria

When did you start to notice fat redistribution?

Has happened very gradually since I started, now at about 9 months I still have a distinct waist but definitely not as distinctive as before.

Did you experience weight gain or loss? If so how much?

Gained about 15 pounds but it is mostly muscle, i'm about the same level of fit if not a bit fitter than Pre-T.

Have you gained some muscle definition and increased strength?

Yes, almost immediately. I worked out in the beginning but not much.

How long before your voice started to change after first shot? Different for everyone. Mine has gone down slowly, still at 5 weeks not a HUGE difference, but i never had a girlish voice either.

When did you start to see increased body hair (leg, arms, etc.)? I saw leg hair within the first 2 weeks, arm hair.. nothing really yet, SOME light chest hair(nothing to brag about) and a little bit of a happy trail 5 weeks in..

When did your periods stop? I had one after my first shot, and it lasted longer the usual(weird??) but i might still get one later =[

Have you experienced a change in how you thought about something or become interested in something way outside your interest level? Not at all.

Has your sexual prefrence changed? Preference? No. But I have become a lot more interested in checking girls out.

Did you get a confidence boost, less disphoria? Not really, I was pretty confident prior to T, and my binder is the best help for disphoria.

Did you experience weight gain or loss? If so how much? Weight gain? Yes, but im not sure if that has to do with T.

Have you gained some muscle definition and increased strength? Since starting T i've become much more interesting in weight lifting since results come alot faster with T, so im not sure if its because i work out more, but i have gained substantial muscle.

I've been on T for 2 months

Voice difference within a week and still dropping

My leg hair has darkened but its not as dark or thick as i would like yet.

Period stopped as soon as i started T

No real changes of interest, except food and sex drive, those seem to be my 2 main goals in life right now

Sexual preference has changed, i am now more attracted to transmen as opposed to very butch lesbians, this could be because my wife/now my husband is transitioning as well

Huge confidence boost but along with that came more chest dysphoria

I didn't have any real "female" fat to redistribute, i'm very lucky in that sense

I have gained weight but i'm not sure how much, tons of muscle gain already with no working out. my shoulders and arms and neck are huge

I'm just over 5 weeks on T.

I noticed a voice change after my first week, but it was not until this past week (week 5) that it started to drop into a distinctly masculine range.

Periods: I had one after starting, but that was expected. It has to go somewhere.

Body hair: Nothing noticeable, and no increase in facial hair yet (sadly).

Mentally I've become more relaxed and calm, less anxious. It's easier for me to relax and deal with problems.

My sexual preference has remained the same, my sexual interest (libido) has increased.

Major confidence boost and much less body dysphoria, primarily due to my changing voice.

I'm already getting fat redistribution but it's very subtle. I lost 1" from my thighs due to the fat decreasing.

I'm gaining weight but it's all muscle. My biceps have increased 1" in girth, and I gained 2" around my chest from my back muscles growing. They flare out when I flex. I'm growing shoulders. I can literally feel the increased density of my muscle tissue, the tightness of it and the power increasing almost daily.

Cracking at 3 weeks and a drop at 7 weeks.

Within 1-2 weeks. It was very gradual and is still growing at 6+ months

I didn't have another one.

About 3 months I think. I believe there's major fat redistribution between 1-3yrs.

Increased strength and very slight definition with no working out at all

I felt my throat get sore around day 12...it dropped rapidly, a bit after every shot. At 3 months it started to change much more slowly, but people call me Lord Vader cause of how deep it is now.

Not sure. I think my leg hair was first, and it grew faster by one month.

Never again after shot #1

No, except now I'm more comfortable sexually cause I'm less dysphoric..and now I have a penis that is attached to me to play with.

I wasn't sure what I was attracted to pre-T. Post T I finally admitted to myself that I was gay, and pre-T I couldn't admit that to myself because I was afraid I'd get read as a....not man if I said I was gay. Now that I pass, I'm nto afraid to look/act/be gay. Plus, the whole lessened sexual dysphoria thing helped. At least other guys can do thigns with what I have now.

More confidence first. Dysphoria took a few months to lessen.

VERY quickly. After a few weeks. Takes longer in alot of guys. But I'm a skinny dude to begin with.

Gained about 5 lbs after 4 months...but it's all muscle.

Yes, alot. I'm surprised how much more I can lift now...and I haven't really been working out. No time.

Thanxs this helps a butt load. It gives me an insight on what to expect and when. I hope I get increase in hair quickly and fat redistribution quickly. I'm hopeing that if I work out more on T I might loose weight a little faster then know.

My endo told me i needed to do some sort of weight training because the redistributed fat could move under the abdominal muscle which is dangerous.
He told me all this after he preceded to lift up my shirt and poke my rolls. He said he wanted to feel my belly, not half way lift my shirt and jab it with his finger. I'm very self-consious about my belly.
