So I'm sitting around thinking about my breasts, which is always a bag full of fun, and I decided that I'd google some of my questions, just to see what would pop up, and I was fascinated to discover that there is a lot of info about breasts a puberty in genetic girls. One thing that caught my eye time and time again (and is the point of all this silly typing) is they say that breast development starts around your first period, and continues for 4-5 years until around 17 or 18. That's all happy skippy times and all, but I was thinking about the fact that they (who are they...) say that we start our own second puberty, and that's where a lot of our physical changes come from. Ok, so here's the meat and potatoes of the question: Should we expect to have 4-5 years of breast growth as well? Because I've always heard from THEM that we can expect 2-3 years of growth. So to all my long term peeps out there, what's your say?

All I'm going to say, having gone through the hell of the female-puberty (from a man's perspective  ), breast growth started WAY before the first period. I remember getting initial breast growth as early as 4th or 5th grade, but a period about 3-4 years later which, according to Wikipedia (I just saw the link about androgen insensitivity), is the norm. Just some clarification  . As for breast growth....not sure if they've stopped growing  , but they definitely kept growing well into high school so your info on that aspect is quite accurate in my case. Hope this helped  .

Yeah two to five years is the average in MtF's and also it depends on your genetics. My clinic told me two years and after two years there isn't much improvement, that was seven months ago and three years on HRT. All I can say is, "What do thy know," I'm still growing, hehe.

Its down to a lot of factors but genetics is a big one. Age at the start of HRT can also influence but not as much as the genetics and how many estrogen receptors you have in your breast tissue already. That's why some MtF's have good results and some don't.

Of course I can't speak for anyone else but I don't think breasts bothered to read The Rules.

I was a full A by age 16, started HRT at 18, and was a B by 24 (transition). Somewhere by my mid 30's they snuck up to a C and by 60 they were almost a full D.

Among my women friends, most experienced breast growth at puberty, at pregnancy, and in "maturity". Some who develop more with pregnancy seem to loose size after weaning the baby and others don't. Some don't even develop at all with pregnancy. It all seems to be down to genetics.

By the time I had my Orchie, I was 18 months into HRT.  I was a B, on the small side.  At the 2 year mark, progesterone was added to my regime and since then I am getting fuller.

So what is my point?  YMMV, but it takes GGs years to develop fully.
