Has anyone found that after starting T their need to sleep/the length of sleep required increased significantly.

I don't know if I'm just burnt out on life [which is fully possible in my 5th year of college the first 3 of which slept an average of 5 or 6 hours every other night]  or if its hormone related.  Whatever it is its starting to really piss me off.  While at the same time being slightly wonderful...

Either way I'm curious if anyone else has experienced this once beginning hormones.
I solemnly swear I am up to no good.

About 2/3 days after my shot (bi-weekly) I get a day or so where I am tired no matter how much I sleep. I'm convinced that's when most of the physical changes take place.

Being on T has cured my lifelong insomnia. Initially it was making me sleep 12-14 hours (either in one go or broken into naps). Now my sleep is far more normal, I get tired and go to bed and sleep 8 or 9 hours, something I've only ever read about. It's pretty great.

It's male puberty. Teenage boys notoriously go through phases of sleeping 12-14 hours a day and then waking up and eating everything in the house. Your body thinks it's a teenage boy right now - but with some more years of wear, so it needs even more energy to make the changes.

In other words: this is to be expected.

i've always been a tired person, but just a few weeks on T has found me needing more and more sleep.  i could sleep 12+ hours easily, and i love the thouht of falling back in bed to nap.

and i do wake up hungry.

...and i'm able to eat all the time.  this evening, for instance, i wolfed down my weight in panda express and came home to eat half a pan of brownies.

I started on monday and I have found myself getting sleepy at 8 pm, which is very very early for me.

I remember that part of T, I think it lasted between 3-6 months or so. I basically slept and ate and slept some more. It is also when I put on all my weight, fortunately I am not on a normal sleeping pattern and my weight has all come off. I looked at it as full force puberty trying to go thought what takes most guys years in a matter of months.

Geez, yes, on the food thing. I'm constantly hungry and I can now eat twice as much in one sitting. And then an hour or two later I'm famished again. In the meantime my fat is starting to vanish, despite how much food I'm stuffing into my face.

Seriously, between that and my newfound ability to sleep, I feel like I've hit the jackpot.

No, actually my insomnia has gotten worse.

What Myles said.  For 3-6 months after starting, I was sleeping all the time, eating everything, and my muscles were constantly sore because they were growing so fast.  Best 3-6 months ever!!!  :)
