I don't know about anyone else but my sweating patterns have changed since I stared HRT.
My underarm used to really perspire and smell even with heavy deodorant.
But now a little deodorant and they seem to be fine even in hot weather.
But now instead of underarms I sweat between and under my breast. Not smell but sweat.
Is this common amount MTF's ?

Whoa, Beni! Great pic! :)

For Jillieann's question, I still sweat like a boy. :( Hopefully that'll tick over soon.  (6 months AAs, random E)

I have noticed that I sweat a bit differently but am not sure how to describe it

I've noticed it most when I jog on my exerciser and when I wake from a good sleep

Oh Yeah,  between and under the boobs.  I used to laugh at my ex till this past Summer when she got back at me for the very same thing.  ;D

And I don't smell like a guy ether.  Just wet and no smell.

BTW.  Looking hot, Beni.

Remember girls that "sweaty guy smell" is pheromonel for females. Something to do with he must be a chief so should sire my babies stuff. While for a guy, a male smelling female is a turn off for the same reasons. One reason we use perfume?

My boobs are tiny :'( but I do put some talc over and under (which realistically is a joke :'() which feels good, smells good and I just do it anyway.

I suppose another question id that many guys don't seem to mind smelling bad, but women don't. I also don't like smelly people of any gender

Cindy, not this one. I don't like the smell and am glad I don't have it anymore.
Good idea will try a little powder.

I've been on HRT for over 9 months now.
So maybe sweating between and under the breast is normal when it hot out.
I hope so.
Oh the mysteries of HRT's effect on the body I wonder what will be next.

Beni, your look great, I like that avatar.

FWIW  Welcome to women hood. I always hated the smelly stinky bras or alternative undergarments. (I'd explain that if it mattered.) Enjoy.

I'm sweating substantially less. There are days, I suppose I sweat a little more. But not nearly as bad as I once did.

Thank you Ladies, I am always amaized at how I look now.  I never would have believed it would happen.  Mater of fact I stoped HRT once long ago because I was sure I would never look like a woman.   BTW  Janet, your coming along nicely too.

Sorry to highjack the thread.  We now return you to the regulary scheduled thread

Yep, Beni and Janet are both looking great!

As far as sweating, I notice that I absolutely do not stink like I used to.  And I don't miss it at all.  My old deodorant does not seem to work that well either.  But Secret does.  If you lived where I do, you would know that if you go outside, there is just no escaping the sweat, no matter who you are.

Hi ladies,

Yeah the sweat patterns do change and I noticed it particularly when I was off my HRT for my surgery. I used to wake up in the middle of the night wringing wet between the boobs and underneath then, not a good look. I am so glad to be back on my hormones as I hated the wet look, lol.

BTW, yes Beni, you are looking great, I remember joining Susan's three years ago at the beginning of my transition and WOW what a difference Beni from then.

So I was wondering, in regard to the breast sweating, how do you ladies deal with the problem?
Do you use a deodorant between and under your breast? Or like Cindy use power?
What works for you? I really don't like the sweat look.

Hi Kristi, it good to hear from you.
So do you use Secret around the breast too?  Or do you have another secret? ;) :)

I have recently noticed this as well.  Not long after I started hormones pretty much any heavy sweat went away and I was quite happy with that and then suddenly... This not it isn't bad but it does get annoying but I suppose that is just more of a new feeling of sweat in odd places for me?

I don't smell at all though.  I barely had any smell as a guy anyways sorta had that twink thing going.  So now it is just all gone on that front and I can live with that.

I pat a bit of powder about the boobies... It is also very important to wash the under boobie crease because sweat tends to gather a bit there  :icon_redface:

Yeah, I have noticed that my perspiration patterns have changed, mainly my underarms, don't perspire as much, but my lower regions perspire a fair amount.

And I would like to thank you all for the information on what to put under the breasts for sweat.   To me that's the most irritating thing about having them is that I get sweat under them and between them.

I, personally, find the smell of sweat disgusting no matter if it's a male who's doing the sweating or if it's a female doing the sweating...so I'm prone to trying to make sure I don't sweat and wearing a nice smelling to things to keep the smell at bay.
