I'm sick of the way the media spins this. Look, people have the right to get upset, the right to be ignorant, and the right to be prejudiced. They DON'T have the right to commit violence. So if the man is upset that there is a transwoman in his car then the solution is obvious: pull over and ask her to get out of the car. No harm done other than some hurt feelings. Same with a one-night stand. If the guy is mad that this is a transwoman, the solution is to ask her to leave the apartment or if it is her apartment then he leaves. Stabbing and strangling someone to death or beating someone senseless is not just "snapping." I really do wish more transwomen would start buying and carrying guns, training with them, and using them on attackers when they have to. Same with all women. If every other time a man stalked a woman walking home from the grocery store and tried to rape her he got shot, statistics would start showing a decline in sexual assaults. The hatred against transwomen is a form of mysogyny. I'm really tired of hearing about women being victimized (cis and trans).
