Fire Captain Jamie Faucon accused the city of bias because of her sexuality.  The complaint alleged that her supervisor, Master Firefighter Mike Brown, had denied her the opportunity to work as a paramedic at a city event.

The Commission, following an investigation, said that there is "no reasonable cause to believe that the respondent, the city, has engaged in a discriminatory practice. The complaint in this matter is therefore ordered to be dismissed."
