Oh god I love Irish names . If I had a daughter, she'd be getting an Irish name. My current name-fancy (for daughter-naming) is Caoimhe . It may be short-lived though still a pretty name.

Caoimhe is a beautiful name indeed! I also love the name Caoilfhionn, it means 'slender and fair'.

Yep, pretty much what niamh said . It can be pronounced Key-vah or Kwee-vah depending on where you're from, but I prefer Key-vah.

I went with Gianna after alot of thinking. It was also the name my mom and sister liked best from the ones I was going through. I kinda wanted my mom to have a little say in it all after all she originally named me to begin with. I like it, I also like Gia as a nickname..

My male name is gender specific.. so I decided to keep my same initials.. then I sent an email to my daughters, girlfriend and a couple of close friends with a list of possibilities.. then I took their input and finally chose one of the choices that none of them chose. It was fun!
