Hey Lex, would you mind telling us your height/weight/chest size? I'm pretty interested in this binder too, my tritop is dying haha. Seems pretty good from the reviews!

I have one big question: how large is the binding material from top to bottom? My main problem with the T-kingdom binder was that the binding part itself was only about 7 inches from top to bottom, 14 inches from the seam at the shoulder to the bottom of the binding material.

sorry, haven't managed to measure it out yet because the binder's in the laundry, but i can say it's short  and i'm almost certain it's no longer than the 14 inches you were talking about. Mine is a small though.
Their website says you can always contact them if you need help with the sizing, though, and i know they have some binders of the same brand that looked longer in the pictures.

I asked them and they said 14 inches for the long shirt...but I still don't know if 14 inches is the length of the binding material or from the seam at the top of the shoulder to the bottom of the binding material. I got really frustrated exchanging e-mails with customer support because there were huge miscommunications. They didn't understand what I was asking, I didn't understand why they were responding with what they said.

oh ok :D well i found a measuring tape that has inches on it, and my binder is shorter than 14 inches top to bottom, but again, i'm the smallest size, and i don't know how long the binder would actually be in any other size. for my size, i like the low and short cut, but from what you're describing, i would really think you may need one of the longer binders. and unfortunately i don't know whether the binding area goes all the way down to the bottom of the shirt with the long and medium juya binders :(

That still doesn't answer my question. I want to know just the binding material alone.  If the binding area is about 7-8 inches then that's about the size of the binding area of the one I have (which doesn't do shizznat).

Have you used binders from T-Kingdom before, and if so how would you say they differ in feel?  I like what I got from T-Kingdom, but it wearing down.

hard to say where the "binding area" starts but i'm gonna say 8 inches at the most, less than that in the back. again, this is referring to a size small.
bytheway i was answering to your posting prior to my answer, where you were saying:
Quotebut I still don't know if 14 inches is the length of the binding material or from the seam at the top of the shoulder to the bottom of the binding material
, so i was letting you know the 14 inches referred to the length top to bottom.

Dang. Then it'll be about the same as the T-kingdom. Frack!

I just can't catch a break. And just realized that what I posted was nonsense. XD

I just ordered the Jersey Mesh Velcro Short binder from this site. (it's one of the cheapest) I'll review it when I get it. ;D

How did you end up liking the jersey mesh ryuu?

There was a screwup with the order, so it didn't actually go through. And a few weeks later I looked at my debit card balance and thought "wow, I have 40 dollars on here I didn't know I had! Awesome" and spent it. XD
