So basically my papers say to leave your genitals open to air dry during the night.

Exactly at what time were/did you start wearing jammies back to bed?

For the first couple of weeks, were I to leave everything out in the open, I would have made a mess in the bed.  I was still oozing and leaking.  I wore panties and an overnight pad and then washed and dried in the morning.

After that, when I had a fair amount of confidence that I wouldn't spot the bed, I started wearing nightgowns with no underwear.  After a couple of months, I could wear whatever I wanted and not worry.

This is probably TMI, but at 8 months post, I'm still too 'oozey' to not wear panties with a liner in them to bed at night.   Hopefully my revision in January will fix this!

I think I went back to wearing them pretty well immediately... but I have always been pretty flexible in my night attire. Sometimes I sleep in PJ's other times a night dress and other times in the buff.

I slept in a fresh pad nightly for 2 weeks, then used a disposable pad (available at Walmart etc).
I got sick of paying for them and now just use a bath towel.

I still hike up my night gown, but its getting better....

I wore jammies in the beginning, with oversized panties and a pad.  I stopped leaking in the first couple of weeks and went to just a bed pad under my naked butt.  Now I just wear nothing, which is how I am most comfortable at night. :)

Like the other girls here my first few months I wore panties and an overnight pad to bed. I wore a nightgown to help keep things more "open" down there.  Now at night I wear panties and jammies in the cooler months. Warmer months, panties and a night gown. For those really warm nights, just panties.

I think most of you miss understood my question.

I already have a tower underneath my butt at night.. but I want to wear jammies.. Do i have to sleep naked forever or?

a tower? lol Lately at night often I just wear my jammies and panties with no pad. I'm usually a bit wet in the morning when I do that but it's a LOT more comfortable than those dreadful pads which I am sooo sick of!

But I'm just now getting to that point and I never did leave it open at night- for air drying I did that during the day whenever I could, and always wore my jammies or underwear with a pad while sleeping.  For the first month or so I also slept with a pillow between my legs which was more comfortable at that time.

How about a nightdress? Very feminine and no need for panties.

I wore medium length night dress from the start as it was easier to lift up when dilating. I used to wear jams but now I wear the nightdresses that I bought for the hospital unfortunately now they just come off before I go to sleep, hehe. So I guess as long as you are not loosing then you can wear anything you want. I was pretty much healed up after seven weeks so I wore nothing but my nightdress since then (well, as I said until I want to go to sleep). I have always slept like this a bit like Jenny I guess.

Getting air to the healing area, well just helps the healing process as if its moist then it will take longer.
