I'm MtF pre op. I'm sorta shy. I came out as Jenna at age 26 to my psychologist and I am now 30. I've been recieving HRT for a year now. Parents have been tolerant of me being transgender even though we have other disagreements. I'm a starving artist. My sense of fashion has remained pretty urbanite as it did before I came out as an everyday woman, plaid shirts, AA V-necks, skinny jeans(because flairs get caught in my bikes chainring), regular ordinary plain jane thrift store, AA and urban outfitters stuff, vintage type sneakers, plastic frames and quirky t-shirts. Dressed up I like to dress simple too, I like earthy colors, minidresses with leggings and flats and messenger bag type purses. I live in a predominantly right wing suburban district and tend to isolate from the rest of the half wits around here who have vandalized my car, posted hateful religious rants on my door, yelled derogatory things at me when I'm out bicycling, been called a hippie ->-bleeped-<- ect. and I'm often scared to go out and too poor to move. I hang mostly downtown because the people I've met there are extreamely tolerant and are deck on the same intrests.

             Congrats On your first year. Your bohemian style sounds cool. I am sorry to hear about the neighborhood that you live in. Some of us have no choice as to where we have to live.

    The neighborhood here at Susan's Place is a very nice one. You will find it comforting to spend time here.  It's nice to meet you, Jenna.

Good to meet you I stared out as a staving artist when I left home. 
But I dropped that whole scene cause I had to raise a family that I sired.
Sometimes I wish I would have stuck at it.

I'm sorry to hear about your neighborhood, but we are here is your neighborhood also, your family also...hihi

I think we are here are different people, we can't refuse the reality, we are weird, so almost ordinary people out there couldn't accept us. that's real, but you are not alone, we all here are your family, we are the same here and I think we have to have special things, skill that make ordinary people admit our existence, and respect us, for example, we could make them proud of our existence, if we are model, be the best model or better than ordinary people, if we are singer be the best singer or better than ordinary people, if we are an engineer be the best engineer or better than ordinary people, if we are business woman  be the best and get the successful  or something like that.
So, they will respect us and they won't dare to mock us, they will proud of us.

For me, this is my goal, be a successful business woman.

Welcome to Susan's, Jenna! That's really scary about the way people in your neighborhood treat you. If I were you, I'd get outta there as soon as I could. Easier said than done, though, right?
