Heard at my last support group meeting:

1. Have the FTM's and MTF's pair up.
2. For each pair, detach each of their heads.
3. Re-attach each head to the other body.
4. Two problems solved!

haha thats a good one. close to what ive thought before: why not have a ftm and a mtf have surgery scheduled the same place/time. the ftm can get the mtf's privates, and the mtf needs them gone anyways, and then the mtf gets her surgery done. then everyone's happy and the ftm can have a transplant so its an actual 'real' one, and the mtf won't be needing it anyways. sounds like a plan to me haha

Yeah, unfortunately it'd be damn near impossible to transplant the genitals from an MtF to an FtM and vice versa, the whole apparatus on both sexes goes way inside the body and has involvement with a lot of major arteries and connective tissue like ligaments involved. If we could, though...


Actually I'd be kind of freaked out to have someone else's ball/stick assembly attached to me; and can you imagine if your body rejected the donated material? you'd have to watch it all turn black and slough off leaving you with a lot of nothing and gaping infected holes in your anatomy

Better yet, brain transplant, that way there will be no need for FFS, electrolysis, etc. 

I saw a movie many years ago where there was a gorgeous, successful, happily married woman who got hit by a bus.  A very homely, lonely, out on her luck woman saw the accident and had a brain hemorrhage.  Both were taken to the same hospital.  The pretty woman's body was too damaged to save.  The homely woman was brain dead.  So they implanted the pretty woman's brain into the homely woman's body.

You can imagine how that went!  "Next week on Oprah!"

That movie got my mind spinning but the snag is nerve healing.  Even if they could match all the nerves to the proper function, the nerves would take too long to heal.  Maybe we can get a friendly alien to show us how to do it!   

I don't think I would be entirely happy with a completely male body and my current face. I think if anything (for myself) switching bodies would be worse.

I first heard that suggestion 20 years ago, but it was for a brain transplant swap scenario.

The very first TS I met was in 1965, a FtM and that solution was obvious to us then. That's 45 years ago

It's not your boobs I would want (I have a nice pair of my own)  it's your unscrambled and properly working ovaries and uterus as my own biology is/was too scrambled to be of much reproductive use in either gender. Sadly though even if it hadn't been I am now way past the point of having anything to swap with.

Robert Heinlein wrote a novel about my dream scenario called "I will Fear No Evil" It also had interesting ideas of residual personality and indeed for the potential for development of a gestalt being which becomes virtually immortal.

I would have loved to live that dream. I certainly DO want to live forever, even if just as a residual and disembodied observer consciousness. When I die that will be my prayer. I don't want to be in paradise, I don't want hell either, I just want to be free to observe the universe in all its magnificence as it ages and develops.

Yeah the further you are in your transition the less desierable your body becomes to our mirror twins. it's a shame humans arn't made out of lego!

another friend of mine has really rotten back teeth yet I keep getting more wisdom teeth than I can handle making mine all wonkey at the front. I'd gladly give him some of my spares.

Although my voice is passable I'd be more intrested in swaping larnyx's For that a guy can have the whole shibang my old voice plus two T factories and a penis if they want it they can have those 4 spare teeth too.

Face swapping would be cool too ^_^

We'll throw in the ovaries as an added bonus, but I'm afraid that my voice box wouldn't be much help to you.  I have a low voice.  Sorry!
