Terri-Gene

Hey all, am moving into an apartment over this holiday weekend to cut my rent and utilities by more then half and getting the rest of some personal trash out of my mentality and thoughts.  Utilities and phone are on this weekend, but they tell me cable and internet through Comcast will not be on for about 3 weeks.  My satallite setup will not work from the new locaton, and will not be trasfered, so I will be offline for the next few weeks other then if I tune in from a friends place time to time, which won't be much.  I don't visit friends to use thier equipment.

Anyway, just to say am well and fine just won't have connectivity and have some personal things which need doing  that for me anyway requires a lot of time in meditation and being with people close to me.  See ya all toward next month with a far better outlook and hopefully a better me.

Love to all

Terri

I can understand the good from cutting expenses.

Will the move be for the better somewhere down the time line?

QuoteWill the move be for the better somewhere down the time line?

Definately, I was sharing rent in a 4 bedroom house with my woman, youngest daughter and son, but I ended up paying more then my share, which should have been very affordable, with the new apartment, I at least know what to expect every month and the utilities are so much less without the cost of pool maintenance etc, etc.  I don't spend much time poolside anyway. Also, I don't have to deal with people around me when I'm not up to it.  I see mucho savings for the warchest.  As to the future, yes, for a lot of reasons this move will benifit me in ways I need and will speed my ambitions and goals.

QuoteCongrats Terri and see you soon. You gonna have the same email address?

Since I commonly use my yahoo address except for business purposes, I would imagine so, but I may not be able to check it much for the next month.  I'll be disconecting my computer from the satallite Sunday or Monday to move it to the new locatoin and won't be connected to cable for about 3 weeks.

QuoteNow who the heck are we going to get to peel onions for the next couple of weeks?

I'm quite sure someone will take care of that for a while, and never fear, by the time I get back on line i'll be peeling onions to the core as with no tv or internet access I will have time to get to the bottom of myself, resolve a couple of things and be thinking clearer then I have been.  I move pretty fast in that respect when I have time to myself.

Well, as said, will be shutting down in the next day or two, but will check in before doing so as much as possible to see if there are any onions that can't wait.

Hey there Terri

I hope the move is trouble free and goes well for you, and if I may, don't forget "they (who ever they were) say that a change is as good as a rest".

Take care, see you in a few weeks,

Steph :)

I imagine you have moved a few times in your life Steph, and you well know it never is, but we all survive it.

Quotethey (who ever they were) say that a change is as good as a rest".

I see some changes as essentual to sanity, and yes, change will be restfull, I'm a little tired of being stressed out over the past year, time to clean house before the real spring cleaning.  I'm closing the lid on all the "bloody babies".  New Beginnings.

QuoteWill there be another photo then?

I tend to take or have taken a photo or two anytime something major happens in my life, event or Feelings.  Kind of a way of capturing a moment in my life that will bring back the original feelings again.  kind of an illistration for my Diary which of course is not shown to anyone until such time as there is someone I feel should read it, volume by volume, just so they understand, as it is deeply personal and reveils all, especially the worst.  Other then those type of pictures though I'm somewhat camera shy, but depending on what happens over the next few weeks, I just may take a new one or two to capture my feeling at the time in a natural way and post it so when I come here, I will remember that feeling and the significance of it to me.  I am highly visually and emotionally tied together.

Right now, it's all about rebuilding and starting fresh, thus the present one from months ago when I had to stand on my own feet again, despite the embarressment and hardships.  That was the attitude and perspective I need most at the moment.

See you then Shelley

Well, much as I hate the things, I put my modem to use and connected via a dial up account till the cable gets installed on the 24th, so I can check in time to time.

Nothing sudden about it Valerie, was two months preparing for it and cleaning up finances and such behind me, and yes, I got both my "boys" here in the new apartment with me.  I wouldn't give them up.  Actually I think "Tigger" is a pain in the rear, but "Baxter" is special to me.  He adopted me as a kitten and is my little buddy.  He likes to sit and watch TV with me and share my popcorn, potato chips and marshmellows.  I love that little guy, and he shows his love for me in so many ways, now if he would only lose 10 pounds or so or at least not lay on me at night ..... but he won't give up his marshmellows ....

Hey there Terry,

How's the new place, is it what you expected?  We have two cats as well a big fat black one called Bear, and a three legged calico named Callie.  Bear is kinda timid and stays inside, but the calico is just the opposite, bold as brass, and causes a lot of trouble, even on three legs.  :)

Chat later
