There seems to be scattered talk about pagans on these forums, and I wondered if there has been any thought to a subforum for pagans.

Pagans tend to identify themselves as prehistoric in regards to religions/belief-systems/practices that started after year 0AD (in terms of Christianity). Everything before that significant 0AD time maybe related to some form of paganism. Everything after that, a pagan usually refers to as neo-paganism (even if neo-pagans, in this sense, don't agree). These are the simple lines to draw without going into some religious disagreement. The main exception to this line is that Judeo-Christianity is not consider the same as pagan-Christianity even if there seems to be an overlap. The difference between these to could be referred to as the act and personification of (judeo) while the other may have the symbolism or ritual of (pagan).

Obvious example, "Christ" to Judeo-Christianity derivatives appears as a name personified. To pagan-Christianity, the word "christ" is from "christos" which means "to anoint" (usually with an oil or a substance that has an oily state).

Are other forum members interested?

Yea I'm interested :D I also think it might also be an idea to see an other type of subforum on here that is for an other type of belief that isn't related to paganism, wicca, but well I'm gonna hush now lolz. But yes I am interested in seeing an subforum for pagans on here it would be nice.

As a "pagan"-Christian, that might be nice to have another subforum though I'll admit the term "pagan" really gets me because I use the Middle Age definition which is any religion not Christan is considered pagan (I'm old fashioned, lol).

It's often bothered me that there hasn't been a subforum for Paganism and y'all gave good incentive to make one. So I have. :P
