I don't know what to say. I didn't know Jesse but I feel really bummed now...

I didn't know her, but it still saddens me to hear this. I hope she has found her peace. I am sorry for your loss and I hope you and your family may find comfort.

I am so sadden by this news.  I was just wondering how she was doing the other day.

I just got off the phone with Cindy James, who just got off the phone with Jesse.

Apparently her ex-wife has gotten into her account.  Jesse is alive and well.

My deepest condolences.   Having lost a friend to suicide, I understand the sadness and pain you are currently enduring.   Like you, I saw no outward indications that they were considering ending their life.   I know that no matter how desperate things get for me, I cannot go down that route having seen the distress suffered by friends and relatives.

If relatives are going to come on here professing regret at some apparently tragic event like this then THEY SHOULD DARN WELL GIVE MORE SUPPORT TO THE PERSON IN THE FIRST PLACE!

Sadly suicides do occur all too frequently in our community as you can see by the number of people who accepted this post at face value.

HACKING is a criminal act both in the US and the UK. It is never justified,

In this case the hacking was clearly done with malicious intent and I for one hope that the the full force of the law can be brought to bear on the perpetrators of this despicable and cowardly act.

Claudette, whoever you are, I hope you will read this. If you ever see me in the street you would be well advised to give me a very wide berth indeed or I will most assuredly give you the benefit of my opinions of your callous and deeply unchristian actions.

I think we will probably leave it up for about 24 hours so that people who read it earlier have had time to see that it was a hoax.

I was deffinietly taken in, I had not had the pleasure of meeting her but I felt really bad when reading this. I am so hapy to know it was a fake post. I have had simular problems with my accounts being hacked by insecure significant others and nosy "friends" so I know what it is like and how it feels espeically when they pretend they are you and say horrible things to people..what a shame that some people may decend so low as to do something like this...

To the Moderators, is there a way to append the original subject to reflect that it is a hoax? I have just come across this thread and was deeply saddened and now that I have read all of the posts I find that it is a horrific and troublesome hoax. I have gone from tears to anger in only a few minutes time.

To whomever Claudette is: What a cruel and evil thing to do to not only your ex, but to this entire community.

I am happy that Jessica is okay, but the pain caused to her and to all who have read this is saddening.

Your manipulative and hurtful statements were unwarranted and mean.  I have no idea why you would want to hurt Jesse, nor play on our emotions with such a cruel hoax.

Do you have any idea how many of those afflicted with Gender Identity Disorder kill themselves because of people like you?  I have lost my brother to suicide and I am still devastated by it.  I myself have attempted suicide because of my angst of living in a body that I could not accept.  I know the hurt and anguish suicide brings.

Yet your callus remarks caused us unneeded grief.

I hope whatever perverted enjoyment you got out of your childish prank is turned back on you someday, somehow.

updated to put note to Jesse after my hands stopped shaking.

I tried changing the Subject line to make sure people would go back and read Janet's addition to the original post, but it only showed up on the first post.  Not all the others like I hoped.

I got to spend the first part of my day in tears and in mourning. Now I have the rest of the day to fume and feel anger.

I can't believe that someone would think that treating us like that is a good idea. We are already emotional wrecks in many cases and some of us are never far from suicide. To post a fake suicide notice was about the lowest anyone could have gone.

Well whoever did this can take some satisfaction in the fact that my esteem for jesse is higher now than it ever was.

I have missed Jesse lately. I do read her posts. Her's in one of the avitar photos I've downloaded a few months ago. (OK Creepy, but I like to see my friends when I'm not online).

Now, I'm even happier. And next time Jesse comes in we can all have a really good laugh and chuckle with her.

Understand how some will feel angry. But lets face it, Jesse has to put up with this crap all the time.

I'm glad Jesse is alive and well. But to the ex wife, what you did was very wrong and uncalled for. It takes somebody pretty low down to do such an stupid, horrible and some words I can't say on here. You should be ashamed of yourself, there is nothing cute about hacking into someones account and saying that they killed themself or the like. And I believe what you did shows exactly what kind of person you are, and I am not going to say what it either. I am angry that you lied about this. I hope you have the ability to realize how many people you have hurt with your horrible lie, and I hope whatever your problem is you get over it.

Thank God she is actually ok.  I didn't know her but I had seen her around susans and I was shocked.  Cruel thing for the hacker to do though, but I'm glad it was fake.
