Alright guys I need some help. Were having a vigil in Orlando Florida at Lake Eola on Wednesday 10/20/10 for all the LGBT teens who have committed suicide. Were supposed to wear purple so me and my boyfriend have dyed our hair purple but I need to compile all the names of the deceased because I'm either putting them on my purple shirt on the back OR I'm writing them on my arms. Now ive heard there is 14 so far if anyone could help me out id really appreciate it.

So far i have:
01) Tyler Clementi
02) Asher Brown
03) Seth Walsh
04) Justin Aaberg
05) Raymond Chase
06) Billy Lucas
07) Aiyisha Hassan
08) Zach Harrington
09) Chloe Lacey
10) Cody Barker

There's supposed to be 4 more if anyone knows anyone I am missing please help me out.

Oh and the vigil will be at 7pm

If you cant make it then there's one on Thursday at UCF at the Reflection Pond around 8pm but get there early cause parking will be a biotch.

It's quite sad. :(  I don't know of any names to add, but I'm wearing my purple shirt and I helped make a remembrance altar at my GLBT center.

Really it's insane that this is normal. It is not a surge in suicides. These are normal numbers. It's just the fact that the media has decided to put a spotlight on it right now. This isn't a new problem.. these aren't high numbers. Alls well that we are honoring these new kids :(, but we can't forget the countless other teens that have died in the past, and are dying now for the same reasons that haven't made the media spotlight.

damn that's really depressing. i noticed that when they started talking about the lgbt suicides late september i figured it's always that amount per month it's just for some reason people started talking about it now. and like i predicted talk died down about it in a couple weeks like any news story. in the meantime like Tad just posted people are still killing themselves. we all know why. no magic wand was waved to make everyone nice and understanding, everything's the same. blah I'm shutting up now, I'll just make people more depressed.
