The Roman Catholic Church has not been shy since 2003 of expressing their hatred and dislike of transgender people to the point where even Pope Benedict XVI has used his Christmas Eve message to declare transpeople a threat to the survival of mankind.

With respect to any devout Roman Catholics here, the alignment of the RC hierarchy to certain economic interests has been evident since they told their followers in much of Central and South America, starting with El Salvador, back in the 60s and 70s, that they should not use the church to oppose their lawful government.

Cuba among others was not included in this papal edict.

Frankly, this latest bit of nonsense demonstrates just how utterly devoid of reality these people really are.

1/30,000 th or whatever of the population is a threat to the future of civilisation?

I feel for the many wonderful members of the Roman Catholic Church who are still Christians, being led by a hierarchy I cannot recognise as followers of Jesus in any way.
