I have no internet at home, so I'm still here in the 24-hour library at 4am. Now that's dedication to an art mini-exchange. (/insomnia. /the wonders of the internet.)
A certain part of it is proving more complicated than I'd hoped, and I have no decent colouring pens (yay moving into student house for leaving important stuff behind...) but this is just to let you know I am indeed working on it.

I'm relieved to see I'm not the only person having issues. I'm mad at myself for waiting so long to get started and I'm mad at my computer for deciding it's going to suddenly start crashing and restarting every five minutes once I actually did get started Don't call in a sub for me just yet I beg of you!

Alright, everyone seems to have been timely about informing me that they'll be a little late, so I'll hold off on calling in subs for now.

(A note to people whose issues involve scanners: You may want to just take a makeshift digital camera/cell phone/webcam picture for now along with a "proper scan coming as soon as possible" note. That way, if you are still experiencing scanner difficulties a week from now, we'll at least have something to show people at handouts.)

Well, it looks like the earliest I can hand this thing in now is Saturday, due to ridiculous amounts of stuff happening (4000 words-ish to write plus diagrams and calculations in the next 2 days, lack of own scanner, lack of own colouring pencils, house issues, powercuts etc.)
I will get it done (it is inked and everything, just needs colour), but not quite by even the provisional late deadline!
I failed in my sacred art duty and I humbly apologise to the person I am doing it for. Even though you don't know who you are yet. >.<

New copy of windows acquired, computer will be fixed and picture will be finished today!

Aren't hand-outs today?

Theoretically, yeah, uhm... Fenrir said they'd try and get their art in by saturday, so I'm... still trying to figure out what I'm doing. I think I'm going to hold out until the end of the day today and then post handouts either tonight or tomorrow morning whether Fenrir and Alun have turned their art in or not.

(Speaking of which, Alun-- you have your art done, right? Your issue is just with your scanner? In which case, do you have a digital camera/cell phone/webcame/whatever that you could take a sloppy picture of your art with for now, and then you can scan it properly later?)
