ST. LOUIS - On Sunday, October 24, TransHaven may have propelled the Transgender Community into local lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) history  by sponsoring and producing what appears to be the first large public Transgender event with the First Annual Trans* Family picnic.

Held in Tower Grove Park  not far from TransHaven's offices, more than fifty Transgender individuals openly celebrated on a warm autumn day, barbequing and sharing stories with their spouses, children and pets.
