I know this is a weird question, but I just had a really long dicussion with one of my buddies about it. So do you believe in ghosts? Why or why not?

yes. we are surrounded by what are called ghosts though really they are something else.

I believe in ghosts and spirits of all sorts.  I only believe because of some personal experiences that were confirmed with other family members, and I don't expect anyone else to believe what I say.

I believe in spirits, had pleanty of exps with them and I am sensitive to them meaning I can sence them.

Ghosts, spirits, polteregests or whatever they are called.  Yes I believe in them because I have seen them.

I used to believe firmly in them as I had an experience where some such entities, among other things, locked me and another inside an hotel room (you know, like, the knob turns loosely but nothing happens). But now I'm not so sure. When you're 12, in a trip with people your age and when everyone firmly believes spirits are presently tourmenting you, it's easy to fabricate or exaggerate memories...

My friends wouldn't stay overnite at the old farm house I grew up in. I was used to the creaking stairs when nobody was on them, the doors that always opened after you shut them, the stuff that moved while you looked at it, and other bizzarro stuff. I've had similar stuff happen elsewhere. But it just seems like weird stuff.
I would suppose you could explain away lots of it. I like to think otherwise. But, there's illusions all over the place, like the 'cosmic gravity time-altered vortex' stuff. All fun. There is also the strange lights in the night sky that depending on the time, were seen by 2 to 20 people including me.
It's hard to go so far as saying I believe in lots of things. It's hard not to say I believe. Maybe it's easier to ask if I think all of that is possible. Sure. It's very possible.
I hope it is.

If you mean by ghost spirits. Yes I believe in them. They are as real as you and I are.
I have see them when I was young and I still see them occasionally.
And I  feel there presents often when they come around.
I am not afraid of them but I do respect there abilities.

I used to as I thought I saw one and actually it only been in the last year that i've been able to think rationally about it. There are better explanations for what I saw then supernatural.
