I would say that hatred does not know about live and let live.

So So So Sad.

And of course she was a transvestite and not transgendered. Not that the murder makes a difference.

Sad, sad story.  But always keep in mind that self-hatred is the silent killer.  Statistically, you are more than twice as likely to kill yourself than to be killed by someone else.

They were seen joking before hand so it wasn't a random stranger attack. Doesn't make it any better though but like most murders, the victim and murderer knew each other.
Hopefully more information will come out after charges are laid. It just seems worse thinking a nutcase just comes along and pushes you under a train cause they don't like the look of you.
