A man in woman's clothing was allegedly pushed to his death in front of a rush-hour Tube train at one of London's busiest stations.

Hundreds of passengers watched in horror as the victim plunged on to the track as the Piccadilly line train pulled into King's Cross just after 6.30 last night.

the first thing you think is "oh my god some judgemental person attacked someone who is different", but this line taken from the first article....
"She said the couple appeared to have been "pushing and pulling as a joke" moments before the train pulled in."

Suggests that it could of been just an accident... I really hope so. But even if it were would that tiny bit of important information see the light of day? hhmmm. Sad event either way.

Fo rthose who have never been to London: the the actual tunnels and platforms are very narrow and cramped and it is easy to see how a bit of joking/horseplay could end with one person under a train.
If the dead one was a TV and perhaps unsteady on high heels it could easily have been a tragic accident.

I really get sick of the media trying to sensationalize everything like they were writing for a tabloid.

The victim of the Kings Cross tube death on Monday evening has been named as Sonia Burgess, who was a trans woman.

She died after being hit by a tube train during the rush hour.

A 34-year-old woman, Nina Kanagasingham, of Chichele Rd, Cricklewood has been charged with murder. Police said yesterday that the death is not being treated as a hate crime.
