So I finally worked up the courage a couple minutes ago to come out to my parents. It took me like 10 minutes to gather up the balls to knock on the door. I wrote a letter and read it verbatim. Started crying halfway through.

By the end of it my dad coaxed me over and hugged me. They told me they loved and accepted me for who I am.

I was afraid for so many years that they would hate me. I come from a conservative family, but this came as an AMAZING surprise! I got full acceptance. Wow! It feels so great!

Just wanted to share with everyone. It just goes to show you truly have no idea how people will react until you tell them.
