I have six beautiful, bright grand daughters ranging from 10 - 1 years old (with two more to arrive shortly  ) and as I prepare to tell the family of my upcoming transition I wondered what they should call me.  I've always been Grandpa Jim and they already have three loving grandmothers.  Can anyone share with me how they have handled a similar situation?

Can't talk from experience but if you worry about problems, how about Gran?

Maybe you could ask your grandkids?  At their ages, they might really have fun coming up with a new name for you.

I too, have a grand daughter. She calls me Grandpa Ken with her mothers blessing. I have a special bond with my kids apparently.
