Hi guys - and ladies,

I've been reading the forums on and off for quite a while, and finally got around to joining. This seems to be an excellent place for support.

I'm a 40 year old transman at the beginning of my journey - I'm not on hormones yet, I have my second appointment at Charing Cross GIC in February. However, I do present as male quite successfully already.

I live in Brighton, which is thankfully quite an open-minded city to live in!

Welcome aboard, man.  There are plenty of very smart and most friendly transguys here ... and transgals too.   

Give this place a chance, and I believe you'll find yourself liking it here very much.  We're kind of like The Borg Collective in Star Trek - The Next Generation ... we have a way of assimilating people.  We do that by being caring, informative and open-minded. 

Did you say Charing Cross?  There are others here who have had treatment and surgery at Charing Cross!  You will come to know them in time.  Post often.  We're very glad you're here.
