MRH

I was just curious to know if I looked masculine, feminine or a bit of both and if you would mistake me for a guy if you were out and about.

You could pass for either in my opinion.

There would be little problem, based upon those photos, for you to pass as male.

Good luck.

I say you pass as a young male in those pics. If your actions (body movement, speech, and such) weren't young male for some reason then I would say androgynous.

Hi.

I agree with either, but i think im leaning a bit toward a boy, young though like 13/14

MRH

Yeah thats the problem. I wanna look more like 18 than 13 lol

The width of your chin is the cue that for me says- 15 year old guy.
"Don't ask me, it was on fire when I lay down on it"

Pretty in-between, I'd say. The first pic I'd guess was a girl, while the other two I'd guess was a guy. Not sure what it is about the first picture that makes the difference though...

If I may offer some advice, for a boy, it's not so much how you look as how you act.

The worst that might happen is some pub or other might say, 'You're too young sonny,'. But I have a feeling you might rather enjoy that.  ;D

Your features will mature as your confidence grows. Some facial hair might help, but can often look like you're trying too hard.

To my mind, the key to judging if some guy is mature is how he looks at you. Mature guys look directly, they are non threating. They speak clearly in a matter of fact manner, rather than as a question, or a statement inviting a response. They laugh inward, to themselves, rather than outward with a crowd. They walk deliberaterly, with a purpose.

The only comment I might make, and this is just an opinion, but you might get your hair cut. And a side parting, on the left of course. It looks a bit like teenage rebellion at the moment, when you're not yet old enough to know yourself.

So, try to relax. You look good.

I feel I do act in a mature male way. At my boyfriends local pub a lot of people do tend to mistake me as a male because of how I stand, walk and talk. Im very "baby faced" as people tend to say so facial hair would help a lot but I dont how i'd go about doing that.  Also my height tends to make people think I'm younger but that cant be helped.

Well, I think you're fine.

You seem to have a pretty good grip and be fitting into the male role quite naturally.

Can't ask for much more really.

Rock_chick

In the first picture you totally look like some sort of laid back skater dude. the other two I'd say were more androgynous.

It's kind of like a game...people try and guess your age then you can laugh at the look of shock on their faces when you tell them your actual age. Even pre transition people found it hard to get my age right...the best one being when I got asked for ID when i was buying a blinking scratchcard!

From the photos I'd say you are a cute young man between 14 and 16.
I know a young man who's a senior in high school and he looks maybe 12 or 13 at the most.
And I won't try facial hair if I were you either you have such a young handsome face it would be a shame to cover it.

I disagree with Jillieann and think a small, neatly-trimmed goatee would be just the thing to bring out your jawline and lengthen your face...but I'm really partial to beards.
(If I could grow one of mine own without going bald...I have a little beard envy right now...)

You pass, but you do look like a middle schooler ::) sorry mister.

The middle picture is female, the other two could be read as feminine boy. A haircut would work wonders.
  •

Keroppi

Personally, female leaning but could go either way depending on clothing, behaviour etc.
  •

Christy Edwards

Based on your facial features, I think either as well...
  •

NightWing

You're kinda in-between.  You could go either way.  But like other have said, actions help.  I like your hair actually.  I'd leave it like it is.  Not sure about the facial hair, you could mess with it. See how it suits you.

I think you look pretty androgynous. Depending on how you dress and act, I think you can go either way. Try experiementing with doing your hair in different ways as I find that the hairstyle can make all the difference.
  •

Riley

Aww, you're so cute! Yeah, I could mistake you for a guy, you've got a gruff thing going on. You slightly resemble Paul Banks of Interpol.
