Fake doctor jailed for giving breast exams in bars

SALMON, Idaho (Reuters) - An Idaho judge on Wednesday set bond at $100,000 for a Boise woman police say posed as a physician and duped at least two other women into having their breasts examined by her at Boise-area nightclubs.

Kristina Ross, 37, remains in Ada County Jail in Boise on two felony counts of practicing medicine without a license.

Police say Ross introduced herself to victims -- one at a downtown Boise bar and the other at a nightclub in a Boise suburb -- as a plastic surgeon named Berlyn Aussieahshowna, a name that turned out to be bogus.

Ross, who has a previous criminal history in Idaho as a man, currently identifies herself as a woman. She is booked into the Ada County Jail as a woman and is being held in protective custody by herself at this time.

The mind boggles somewhat.

Letting someone, you meet in a bar, who claims to be a Dr. fondle you.

Yeah, at least make them buy you a drink first.

That does make me laugh....One does have to wonder about who would let someone do a breast exam in a bar. If you found out they weren't really a doctor, would you really be suprized???

Just amazing that anyone would fall for that.

Maybe she was trying to buy two Pickets to Tittsburg.

It is a story that is utterly at the forefront... But truly, should anyone get too cowed up about it?
