Emmanuelle

Hello all,

Not really sure what to write and what not. At 40-something there has been a lot of life already and there's so much more to come. Some 3-4 months ago (July 27 to accurate :D) I sensed what made sense already for more than a decade. Today I'm roughly 5 months before starting HRT and... I guess I'm scared, uncertain, emotional, you name it. Which is, I figure, pretty normal.

I guess I'll be around popping in and out. I'm not big on opinions, but I like to write once in a while or contribute whenever I feel I can help.

Hugs,

Marie-Emmanuelle

Hi Emma, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 4100 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another sister. :icon_hug:

And be sure to check out these links ( MUST READS )

Hugs and Love,
Janet

Welcome aboard.
I am also in my 40's and have only come out in the last year.
There are quite of few women here in their 30-60's who have a late start on their transition.
So there are alot of folks here who get it.

Show up
don't worry
and bring your sense of humor.

If you only know yourself, but not your opponent, you may win or may lose.
If you know neither yourself nor your enemy, you will always endanger yourself.

welcome here.
your feelings of scare and incertain sound pretty normal to me but now you can share them with people who knows what you are talking about.

Yep, that normal. I still get that way and I've been on HRT for over 10 months.

I am new here also but I am sure you will find all the advice and support you need for any choice you make along the way.  Though I did at one time consider breast implants, I never considered HRT an option...

Cynthialee said it beautifully!  We get it, and we welcome you.  Contribute as much or as little as you like.  No pressure.  We're all about acceptance here.  Just be you, and that's more than good enough.    ;)
Believe.  Persist.  Arrive.    :D
