I went to see the new Harry Potter movie, and a little bit into the movie, I needed to use the restroom. So I walked out of the theatre, and on my way out, I decided it was time to use the men's room. I walked in there at the same time as another guy, but he was only 10 years old or so, so I decided to keep going. I didn't want to look weird when he stepped up to the urinal and I went in a stall, so I pretended that I just needed to wash my hands. When he left, I went in the stall, did my business, and left.

That's kind of all there is to the story =/ I just felt really empowered because nobody questioned me going in there or being in there, and I felt like sharing.

Congrats! Now you know that there's no problem and you can keep on using it whenever you want  :)

awesome! Such a good feeling taking these steps.

going in and not using either urinal or stall will get you more unwanted attention than using either.
Toilets is either for function or cruising.  Gay men cruise.

Thats awesome! My first time using the mens room was pretty recently but it felt so good. I used a urinal and no one else was in there and one guy came in on my way out but he didnt look at me or anything. Unless you really look like a girl, no one usually pays enough attention to even notice

Awesome man, congrats!

Side note: I've seen guys go in to wash their hands but I always just head straight for the stall every time and don't get questioned.

I was scared my first time, too.  It was in a small airport in my home state, where I was just barely passing.  I was afraid of being accused of being in the wrong room.  I used a stall because of my luggage (travelling solo) and I was recently post-op (hysto).  When I got off the plane in my destination, I passed far more easily than at home.  So the next public restroom was a crowded truck stop filthy bathroom.  Went to stall, did my thing with stp, left quickly.  It got easier from there.

Nobody is really paying attention, so unless you really look out of place, nobody will notice.

FWIW many people used to assume my son was a girl because he had very long hair, well past his shoulders.  He used the men's room without incident.  He knew he was a boy.  So, own that.  You are male.

Congrats, that's a great step. You just get more comfortable and confident with it after the first time. I was lucky in that the first times I used the mens room there was no one in there. Oddly enough, the first time there was someone else using the bathroom was in the theatre bathroom when I was seeing HP 7. But he wasn't at a urinal, he was spinning in a circle brushing his teeth and freaking out. Onions before a date perhaps?

I have a friend who never uses urinals.  He always go to a stall.  Some men do that.  Just walk in and grab a stall.  No one will care.

Congrats on the first time, Robert.

Congrats Robert! try to do it whenever you feel that you need to get used to it.... don't worry about anyone else in the guys room .. most guys would not even bother to stop to ask or notice another guy for fear of being labeled gay...

::hugs::

Congrats, it's a great feeling being able to do it. The first time I used the mens room was actually when my mother dragged me along to do shopping. I admit I was nervous but I walked in and took a stall. I don't pass easily unless I wear really baggy shirts but no one questioned me and I've been going to the mens room quite often since then unless my parents are close by, thankfully my mother was in a rush to get things so she went off shopping while I went to the restroom.

It's all in attitude and confidence. If you question it, they'll question it. But if you're sure about yourself, they won't dare challenge that. If any guy is going to say soemthing to someone, they're going to say it to the one who doesn't look like they belong. So belong, you're male.

Congrats dude. It's a nice feeling.

I'm pre transition but, one time I wasn't thinking and used the mens room. I didn't even realize it until I had left. How I forgot I was walking around in girl husk is beyond me.

weird dude, I went to go see harry potter today too and i had to leave for a sec to use the bathroom, didnt even have my stp and had to pee in a stall lol.

I still get a little nervous, but the cool thing is, it gets easier and easier.

and it feels awesome when no one says anything to you, like there were about 3 other guys in the bathroom today, including a buisinessman on his phone near the sinks lol.

Congrats. I have yet to use the men's room. I honestly don't know what my problem is. I get weird looks in the lady's room, especially when binding; I just haven't gotten the nerves yet.

Grats man!  As has been said, nobody's going to really pay enough attention to notice.  You belong there, and that's all there really is to it.
Oh I'm a lucky man to count on both hands the ones I love

I am waiting till I have my hair cut and am on T to go there, but everyone has told me the key is confidence. I was told that even if someone DOES look at you wierd or something to keep going. I'm pretty alternative and was told to just think of it this way; alternative, fem guys go to men's restrooms with inch thick makep and TRIPP NYC unisex skirts (NOT ALL ALTERNATIVE/FEM GUYS DO THIS, only an example!!!). So why can't you even if you're just a midge girly. Or none at all? Made sense that way, or at least to me it did. Lol.

My first time i was super nervous.. so i just texted on my way in and out.. busy teenage kid look. Gets easier and easier bros... and don't be weirded out by using stalls.. out in the public washrooms (not uni)... the stalls tend to be way more popular then the urinals. Lota guys sit to pee and crap and jerk off and who knows what else.. No one's gonna pay attention to what you're doing unless they are cruising.

And I bet it was a huge anticlimax and you were left wondering what the big deal was in the first place.

Happy for you. I bet it's a great feeling.
