Well, you can tell I'm really old! I actually post references that aren't on the web. Must be a bit shocking, huh? I once did a 50 page paper on unfunded pension liabilities with a very large bibliography (around 35-40 citations) and none of it was on the web, because the web hadn't been INVENTED! You kept little 3x5 note cards, that is how it was done. Seriously, I have a subscription to Allure and had torn out that particular article to give to my wife who tends that way. You might run into the November issue someplace. Further note, Allure often has androgynous women in slightly feminized mens type clothing, often acting amorously toward extremly fem women in both ads and story lines. Very sexy to me, but have seen letters to editor condemning it.
One of the Historical personages they mentioned was Queen Christina of Sweden, raised as a boy and who dressed in both men's and women's clothing. Often at the same time.
