I went away last weekend to Whitby with some of my family. We stopped off at a little supermarket to get a few things. My sisters boyfriend and I went in whilst my sister and my boyfriend stayed in the car. I went to the counter with a can of relentless and was ID'd for it. One of the women wasnt so bright so when she took my ID she couldnt figure out how old I was if I was born in '92. She was staring at it for ages before passing it to the other woman and said "How old is he?". I froze for a second. I love it when people make that mistake but 1,I knew they would soon realise otherwise when they saw my name on the ID and 2, My sister boyfriend was there and he's one of the last people I want to be around when I get mistaken for a male (he's very judgemental so I knew this would be hilarious for him).
The other woman looked at my ID and said "He is a she" The first woman looked so embarrassed and kept apologising over and over but I kept telling her it was fine and used to get it all through high school. If it wasnt for my sisters boyfriend being there I probably would of been straight and told her I was glad she said that.  I'd say I pass about 40% of the time these days so its giving me a huge confidence boost even if I do end up in awkward situations. :)
