2. You can no more try be a male than you can try to be more female. You just be who you are.

I couldn't agree more with that statement. Don't feel like you have to prove anything to them. Just be who you really are, to the best of your ability at this point, they sound like they will be overall accepting. Just relax and feel free to explore the real you.

Good luck! I hope it goes well =) <3

we used to see the phrase 'clothes make the woman' in fashion articles but it got unpopular with all the militant feminist crap but for a new TS clothes really do mark a gender change.
go as flat chested as you are but in definitely feminine clothes with a little makeup and tell everyone you will be glad when the hormones have given you a nice figure.  they'll understand that and what you are a lot better than turning up in old male mode.

Hi Rylie

you came out and your familie accepted it, so why should you worrie?
is it possible that you're not accepting the feminine role at this moment.
and of course it's scary, I understand, I've been there,  but you have to go sometime, like erocse said you only have to do it once.
OK maybe it's shocking for your family but you can't hide yourselve the rest of your life.
Then you are still living in the closet.
If you think you're not readdy for it, skip christmas this year, nobody will blame you for that but, how about next year? the problem is still there.
Once you present yourselve the way you are it is time for everybody to get use to it.
and if you go, make yourselve beautifull because you never get a second chance to make the first impression.
It's not your fault you're a woman so you won't have to please anyone acting as a male.
I'll hope you'll make the right desicion for yourselve, by doing what ever you want to do and make yourselve happy.

anyway, I wish you a very happy Xmas this year

To coin a cliche: Just do it.

Since your family knows and accepts, your past the hard part. Buy some new clothes that you are comfortable in, go and be yourself. Life is too short to have regrets and be unhappy. It's just not worth it.

I got talked into going to family Christmas last year. Talk about regret, I'm never going again.

Kat. I'm really sorry to hear that. But I've noticed you're pretty tough so, hope you gave as good as you got.

Thanks everyone, I feel much better about going home and am a lil excited now too.

This all breaks down to the fact that I'm not out at work, so living down here I'm still in the closet i guess you could say and that makes it hard for me to accept myself as femminine... being in a masculine role probably 95% of the time still.  I could come home from work and "crossdress" everyday but really I like pajamas pants when I'm at home.

Like I said before, now that the ticket had been bought I'm excited to be home
