Dude, awesome breakdown there. Pretty informative too, and makes me feel all the more that Love Boat was the right way to go.

Just sat down and ordered them tonight. I went with the High Performance and the Jersey Mesh. I actually wanted to go High Performance and Wide Coverage, but they didn't have my size or the size below for the latter. I had to go a size below for both of the two that I did order.

I am ecstatic! I'm not really showing it, but you can bet as soon as those come in the mail I'll be trying them out! Haha, I'm getting them when they get here rather than having to wait, which is pretty awesome. These past few months are proving to be good ones, particular this month it seems.

Once again, all of you, thank you so much for the input. Thanks to a few others out there too who helped even though it wasn't right here in this thread.

Is the binder the same one you got Emil?

Izzo, I was going to get that binder I believe -- it looks like the Wide Coverage one -- but they neither had my size or the one below. I know it doesn't help you either way, but according to the chart they have on the side it's one of their better binders. Actually, in comparison to the one I did order the only difference in rating there was ventilation -- the Jersey Mesh was rated 5/5 by them in that area, whereas the Wide Coverage was rated a 4/5.

That's about all I can offer, but here's the chart if you'd like to check it out and haven't seen it already: http://www.lesloveboat.com/shop/compare.php

Thanks Emil. :)

Just bumping this and requesting a good review :)  I'm going to try a loveboat for my next binder and am hoping it'll be ok in the summer.  I really need something comfortable I can use just under a t-shirt.  I'm a 34DD though, I don't know how big of a guy you are, but if you could tell me if you're much smaller or about the same, it would help me decide which one to get.

Thanks in advance for any help! :)

A good review coming right up, man! Soon as I get them...

I can even try them out in some kind of heat too to give you a better idea of how they perform in that.

To be honest, I don't really know what size I am...every method of measurement I've tried puts me at an A or B (a large A or B, I suppose) but my ma swears I'm at least a C. *Shrugs* I'll admit I was confused by the A or B determination but I measured at least three times...did the math at least twice (it's not that difficult either, so). Regardless of all of that though, I don't considering myself small -- I'm built kind of stocky regardless of weight though, so perhaps that has something to do with measuring as a large A or B? I don't know...I don't know how this works. ??? Men's clothes are so much freakin' easier to figure out.

And you're welcome! Don't know how much help I'll be considering my own confusion, but, whatever help it is you're welcome!  ;D

Is there anyone with a size small short Loveboat binder who can tell me how long it is from top to bottom, if it's laid out flat? I'm thinking of getting one, but I have a pretty short torso and I don't want it pressing in at my waist... Thanks.

From what I've read, there are more problems with them being too short, since they're made in Asian sizes so I doubt you'd have a problem.  I know the tri-tops from Und's are too long for a lot of guys.  Bumping to try to get you an answer :)  Have you tried contacting them?  If you do, could you post the answer here for me as well?
Thansk!

I ended up getting the High Performance Velcro Short Binder; it just came today. It's a good length for me--it's 13 inches from the top of the strap to the bottom of the binder.

the first one on your list, the loveboat jersey mesh one. I ust got it in the mail.  it is stretchy in the back and hard and the front and it binds really well, much more comfortable then underworks, dosnt bind quite as well, but i an take deeper breaths in it.  Im not sure how well it would work on a larger chested guy, I dont think it would work as good

Okay, just got these babies just now and I'm giving them a test run!!

They seem tight -- admittedly I believe they might both be a size smaller than the site says (at the least I know that one is), but I got them on. First time really binding for me so I need to get used to them, but they do a pretty damn good job and even my ma agrees, so that's something. I might even start wearing just tee-shirts (opposed to hoodies or button-ups overtop) now I've lost some weight...

I'm gonna do some testing of sorts and I can update you guys there -- I am using a sports underneath for a little extra comfort and to keep things a bit more...organized? Haha, the binders are a bit short for me, so it's to make sure they stay in, really. I can try and get some pics too. I know those can be hugely helpful -- that might take a while though because I suck at getting pics of myself.

Wow, nearly two weeks and I haven't posted.  :-\ Sorry guys.

The Jersey Mesh I've decided is too small -- I can barely get it on and the second time it was really uncomfortable. I e-mailed the company about possibly returning it and am going to try it a third time, but hopefully I can send it back for an exchange (though I ordered the largest size this binder comes in). They suggested that I hang on to it, but given the difficulty and comfort issues I don't know as it's a good idea. I've been losing weight, but not around my ribs, so unless what I'm trying to bind diminishes (which I somehow doubt) I think it'll be useless to me.

I'm still getting used to binding from wearing one, to getting it on and feeling like I have everything right, to adjusting once it's on (I go through a while of claustrophobia and then it seems to chill). Still wearing a sports underneath to help keep things contained, and I've been wearing an A-shirt overtop to minimize (virtually eliminate, really) the feel of the velcro seam. I don't know yet how it feels when the temperature is higher. The first night I helped bring Christmas stuff from the basement -- binding seemed to affect my performance/stamina/whatever, but I don't know if that's the binder or me not being used to it. So take that with a grain of salt.

I tried to get pics the other night but my camera died...I think they sucked anyways, so, I'll try again at some point. Work's just been kind of crazy and with the holidays things have been even crazier. I tried to bind for Christmas but was having a crazy claustrophobia moment, got frustrated, and decided to forget it.
