Mr.Rainey

I am thinking of starting to pack, just for me to try it out and see. I'm wondering what a good setup would be as far as harness and whatnot, I have hardpacked for girls or for fun before but never an softpack. I want to know how its different and how to get it to where its comfortable and what to choose. I am 5'4'' with an sorta athletic build. I dun wanna spend too much money on this as its for experimentation. I have done some poking around on the web but I wanna know what people's experiances are. Thanks a bunch,

The biggest difference is that it's soft.

The small packy from early2bed is $12 so it's reasonably cheap. It feels somewhat realistic but doesn't look realistic. Since you said you need cheap and it's only for experimenting then it might be good for you. They also have a packing strap on there for $20 but I've never used it so I don't know how well it would work. I'm about 5' 10" and I have a medium and it creates too large of a bulge for what I'm comfortable with and I can't get it to stay in place so a small is probably best for you. Plus I've been told the balls are heavier on the small so it stays in place better if you are just using briefs to keep it in place.

Mister

There's really no reason to use a harness to pack.  It's all about finding the right underwear that works for you.

It's all about personal preference really. So many guys say that the medium is too big but I have a medium and I am 5'2" and really slim. I don't have a problem. I never used a harness I just experimented with different kinds of underwear. The basic soft pack is really cheap, good ones has a more realistic feeling one for a bit more but it still doesnt look very realistic. The only ones that are going to look realistic are prosthetics which are really expensive. And honestly I have a likereal and I use a softpack instead of that one most of the time.
Call me a cheat but I make my own fate.

Go to www.urimate.com I believe they carry Good Vibes soft pack and I think it comes with a free harness.  Easy website to navigate thru.

If you're going to go with that cheap packer, use toolshedtoys.com  => Gender Expression => Mister Softie Elastomer Packer

They have the same packer in "vanilla" so you can at least not have bubble gum pink sitting in your pants. It'll be useful as well if you happen to change it into a STP. It's $13 here and with Priority Mail shipping, your total would come out to $20.95

Hope this helps. :)

EDIT: I see that Early2Bed has added the vanilla. Shipping at toolshedtoys is $7.95 or 23.95 and only in the US.

This place is much cheaper and has more options: UPS Ground = $7.50, USPS Priority = $6.50, Canada $14.95, Overseas $24.95 and of course there are other various shipping options that are just more "convenient". Now I hope this really helps you :P
