5 minutes ago my dad called me by my name, Aiden. it was a little awkward at first, he wasnt too sure if he was pronouncing it right haha :)
but its a really big step for my dad and i'm happy. I asked him to put Aiden on my x-mas gifts, and he said he will :)
this is going to be my first christmas out to my family and i'm really excited

Me too. :) I'm interested to see the gifts I'll get. Though honestly many of my gifts were unisex or male focused anyway- at least the ones from my lists (yes, my family still does lists). This year hopefully I won't get something girly I'll have to exchange.

I'm glad things are going well for you and your father. Hopefully 2011 will show much success in transition for you. :)

my family does lists too! i told my dad how very important it is that I get clothes that help me pass and feel comfortable, so he's been looking for jeans with a short inseam [i'm small!] and shirts, boxers...but because these are my x-mas gifts I have to wait till then to open them -_-
i cant wait for 2011! new years is probably my favorite holiday.
