Where you try out packing and you like it and you feel complete and comfortable..for a while..and months later..no matter how hard you try, you just cant get used to it..it feels really weird to pack..idk maybe im being too self conscious. I used to wonder why guys would say they didnt need to pack or packings not for them, I was really not understanding that..but now that i feel it myself, I just carry an stp around but Im not really comfortable with it in public so I still sit to pee..and packing just feels foreign.
Has anyone else gone through phases where they feel the need to pack, then dont and where they feel the need to stp then later would rather sit?

I like packing, but I usually only do so at home.  Packing in public seems unnecessary (Is anyone really looking at my crotch?  And if they are, do I want them to see a bulge there?).  I'd rather have no bulge in public than one that might look too big.

Anyway, I can't seem to NOT pack. So I can't help you much here. It took me about one month to go from no packing to packing all the time. At first I only packed when I went to men's group, then I only packed when I was going to the LGBT center for any reason, then I only packed in public, then I only packed in the daytime except when I exercised or showered, and pretty soon I was packing all the time except in the shower.

So the only time I don't pack consistently is in the shower. Sometimes I pack, sometimes I don't. I've only had my shower packer for a little while now.

On a related note, I might buy an STP soon (mainly for specific occasions), and I worry that the bulge will be too noticeable because the tubing makes the packer a little more erect than usual. But I already have a Good Vibes, and that has a firm core. So maybe I'll be okay.

The things we worry about...seriously, who would go through this if they didn't have to?

I kind of hope that I do get to that point.  Ever since first packing with a sock, I realized that I wanted it there 24/7.  For me, it's not about other people noticing; it just feels like my dick is missing if I don't have a packer on.

Ya I agree with Lee, whether other people notice it or not, I still notice that its there, and thats the main reason why I pack. I dont pack 24/7, but I do most of the time.

24/7 packing for me, it feels even worse if I don't ever since I tried it once. I pack in the shower doc appointments, everywhere.

I do agree with Arch's confusion, Who sees your bulge at home?

I don't do it for the bulge , just for less feeling of being wrong or incomplete. I always felt like I just didn't develop right.

I dont pack, I have a packer that I can useif I ever want to.  but honestly i fnd it really uncomfortable.  It moves around, never stay in place, plus I like to wear boxers not briefs, and I findthe packer to justget in the way when going #1 or #2.

not having a bulge doesnt bother me, sure I wish I had a penis, but having a cyberskin one makes me realize even more that I dont have a dick.  cause I can see it, but i cant feel it, cause its not connected to me.

I feel happier just thinking of my dick as my dick, sure its small but at least I can feel it, and it can get hard.

The stp doesn't pop out too much more than a regualr packer.
And I agree with you, we have so many things to deal with.

Elijah, I agree with you. When I pack now, im constantly worrying about it shifting and looking too big and all that. So id rather not pack, and just hope my jeans make a nice bulge by themselves.

For the shower, I use a regular Mango soft packer (the gel kind that you can get almost anywhere--do NOT buy one through Mango because you might never get it). I have a harness that I'm using until I decide whether to make my own. It's a double penetration harness from Leatherbeaten. I bought that at The Tool Shed because they seemed to be the only ones who had the DP harness without a dildo (I didn't need yet another dildo).

This is an adjustable web-style strappy thing, but it's kind of wide and very black. So I would like to make my own out of a less obtrusive color. And you can buy cock rings anywhere, including nonmetallic ones that won't rust in the shower.

It doesn't have any straps/anchors between the legs. I didn't want that. So the packer does move around a bit, but, hey, it's the shower. I need to be able to move the packer this way and that.

I have also considered a cock ring harness from BoyzShop, but I haven't bought one yet.
