Equality Montgomery's Kickoff Fall Picnic and Ice Cream Social

Please join Equality Montgomery for their first Fall Festival to meet and socialize. Over the past few months, a group of friends, neighbors, and community leaders from around Montgomery County have been meeting to lay the groundwork for a new LGBT organization in the county. Together, we formulated a mission to promote equality and full participation for our community in our county through advocacy, education, outreach, and partnership. In establishing this new group, Equality Montgomery has been helped by leaders from Equality Maryland, the Arlington Gay and Lesbian Alliance (AGLA), and Equality Fairfax.

E=MCq will host a free ice cream social and picnic. Join us to meet neighbors and new friends. The event will be long on fun and short on speeches.

Sunday, September 18 - rain or shine
4 pm at Meadowbrook/Rock Creek Park & Community Center in Chevy Chase.
