Glamazonia isn't your typical superhero. "The Uncanny Super-->-bleeped-<-" began as a bit character before breaking into her own publication. Creator Justin Hall explains why he chose to give her the spotlight.

"I do a lot of other kinds of comic book work as well - travel stories, autobiographical stuff, gay porn comics," Hall says, "but of all the material, it seemed like Glamazonia was kind of the easiest sell."

Of course, Hall wasn't sure the public would latch on to a campy transsexual crime fighter. He set out with a small audience in mind.
