Ok, I know this is quite old hat and just about all of you have been through this, but the area behind my nipples started to ache last night and it is getting worse. I am so happy! Kinda odd thing to be happy about, but given the very slow ramp up of my E dosage, I haven't seen very many changes up 'till now. Some skin softening in areas and some emotional changes. However, a couple of weeks ago, my endo indicated we were probably now at what will be my final dosage or very close and I am starting to finally see some results and that has me excited.

Ok, TMI alert. Last night I bumped up against my front door frame with my chest and bulls-eyed my left nipple and for the first time got that "youch!" feeling. I then started exploring both the left and right and realized there was an area that felt quite sore just about under each nipple. Today that feeling has grown and it has me hopeful for changes to come. I am a pretty undersized b cup right now (due to gynecomastia) and I can't wait to actually have a pair that really fill a bra. There have been other changes too, but I would file those under way, way TMI. I think those of you who are HRT vets can probably fill in the blanks.

Anyway, sorry to run on about something that happens to just about everyone that begins on HRT, but I was just so excited and it is something only you ladies can understand and celebrate with me.

Happy Holidays!
and i know that i'm never alone
and i know that my heart is my home
Every missing piece of me
I can find in a melody

YAY!

<I remember constatly hurting them when they first started growing..>
So it is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you can win a hundred battles without a single loss.
If you only know yourself, but not your opponent, you may win or may lose.
If you know neither yourself nor your enemy, you will always endanger yourself.

Mine go on and off again.  They are currently in a growth period right now.  They don't hurt, just itch.

One of mine (blasted asymmetry) was giving me an ache for several days, but seems to have let up for the moment (or a few months... never know).

It's quite a source of cognitive dissonance to feel both good & bad about such discomfort.
