Okay, my mom and I are definitely having some trouble finding me a gender therapist.  So does ANYONE know of a good therapist in Texas?  Preferably in the San Antonio area, maybe Austin or San Marcos even?

Any help would be appreciated.

Carson Rader is awesome. I have been seeing him for two years. He is currently only taking phone appointments I believe, as he is spending a significant part of his time out of state. Katy Koonce is another well respected therapist in Austin, though she was not the right fit for me, just not a good personality fit, but very experienced and well known. I don't know about San Antonio therapists, if I get any information I will send it your way.

I'm also look for a GT in the Austin area, as I live here, but its seems rather hard finding the "right ones"

as I have been warned by others to seek one out who is "flexible" and not rigid.. IE,, (WILL NOT force self-medicating clients to cease treatment rather than providing letters under the SOC's exemption for self-medicating.)
