I have tried and tried, but it seems my C is losing sensitivity.
Tonight it just feels like my earlobe, no joy at all.
Beyond the swelling at the urethra, no swelling at all to the C.

I contacted Canada (possibly next fall) and PA possibly in March (surgery 6-8 months later.

What can I do to stop the denervation? I am scared and crying now. Is this what life will be like? dead between the legs?
"When the swelling subsides" is all I get from the doctor. Its been 5 months!

What about the areas around the clitoris?  Are they numb as well?  There is a possibility that the feeling can come back as the nerves regenerate over time.

Julie,
Some of my reading says it takes up to a year or more for those nerves to regenerate and things will get better. I have read it over and over. Are you on progesterone?
I think patience is in order.  I pray so at least!
Hugs,
Amelia

I had nose feminising surgery a few months ago and your post made me check its tip and in last few days the nerves must have gotten together as it as lost th enumbness.
in my groin the area around the orchie/rupture incision is still dead after about a year.

the surgeons do take care to maintain the penis nerve bundle so maybe your problem is just a temporary thing or perhaps just like many other women 'you aren't interested' at the moment.

Sorry guys. I'll have to blame that on self pitty.
The C does have some sensation, but not the "OMG" feeling.
But then I cant remember what it felt like before. Strange.

I'll be quiet now.

Hi Julie,

I felt pretty numb down that way for the longest time.  Still do to some degree... but try the magic wand test.  No joke, pick up a Hitachi magic wand (google it, they are legendary), and just play with it for awhile.  I became suddenly aware, that there are nerves in that place, they just need a little convincing.  More come on line every week, 11 months post op.   This past weekend, a friend "woke" some more up for me in a place I never had feeling before.  Don't despair!

Good luck, Have Fun.
