Can you book it for us? I did stay in a Hotel in Union Square, the guy getting the taxis (sorry Kat, brain fade, sugar is getting low) blew a  mouth horn that got the next taxi. Had a really nice restaurant, it was on the main road facing the park. Expensive but I wasn't paying . I'm going back 10 years approx.

I would have smiled and clapped too Virginia, that is so cool.    I get very nervous in similar situations.

BTW, I had two people do the same this last week. I was getting shopping out of the car in front of my house and the postman started singing as he was riding past on his bike when he saw me. lol.   Then a few days later, I was in the front yard and a lady walking her dog starting singing too after she noticed me standing there.

That would depend on the song you are singing I guess.  No one would look twice at some hippie skipping down the street here singing Sugar Magnolia (It's a Jerry kind of town), but if you were out singing Metallica's Master of Puppets or Ride the Lighting, perhaps people might pause.

The only hotel that faces Union Square is the Westin St. Francis, which is very nice.  Very nice.  Really, very nice.  Nice enough that when Queen Elizebeth arrived here a day early because of high seas and they didn't want to take her Royal Yatch Britannia up from Santa Barbra that's where she stayed, and for the second time, I think she was there on the way to her honeymoon at Yosemite also.

As a bonus they do have a Victoria's Secret in the hotel.

But of course I'll wash your back, water conservation and all.
