Gizmo

Hello everyone. I only recently came across this website and forum and decided to go ahead and join up. Why not? It seems like an active place with good information and good people.

I'm Shaun, 22 years old (though I feel older), transguy, living in the Crystal City area (a suburb across the river to Washington, DC). I've been on testosterone for the past 2 years or so and recently (as of last week) had top surgery. I will be traveling back to my surgeon tomorrow morning to have my drains removed, woohoo! I have actively been living as male since 2006, while I have felt male since I was very young. I am currently in college studying towards a degree in mathematics. I took some time off between high school and starting college because I was still trying to figure out some things about myself, coming out as trans was the main thing. My mother's side of the family has been very supportive, but my father's side, not so much. His side of the family hasn't been in my life all that much so it isn't any skin off my back. I've found a very good therapist who has helped me out quite a bit. Besides talking to her about my transitioning process, its been a good feeling to vent, rant and spill about other things that happen to be flowing through my mind.

Welcome aboard :)  I hail from MD (went to college at UMBC) but have moved a bit north now.  Glad you're here.

Hi shaun

welcome to the forum.
I've always admired people who can understand maths ( i'm too stupid for that)
It seems to me that you're doing great at the moment
so, keep on going with the good work.
