why has no one questioned the goverment about the raceisum on applications?
on any application you look at under the "SEX or GENDER" slection there is male and female
what about the "third sex" there are pepole born with both sexes, why is this not there or atleast "OTHER" what about there rights to exisist to be part of america?
the fact of the matter is there are others that are not males or females, they are REAL.
how can they even fill out an application for employment? they are forced to lie, say they are one of the 2 sexes. thus if these persons are real, why do they not stand up for there rights?
or if they have then why has the us not done anything about this? of all of use were to go to the white house and just sit there till they listion? we must do something! yes it is understandable that we are trying to pass all theses small laws to include out "SEX or GENDER" but if we just passed a law to add our kind to the word "SEX" then all the laws therein will follow!!!!

Id allways leave that section of the form blank... then more recently on apps that state gender id mark female  >

I didnt vote because the question needs rephrased... first off it would be sexisim, or genderisim... and secondly its  not a right or wrong its a yes or no question... maby even a maby should be added in there for good measure...

Are you asking us to vote whether your POV is right/wrong or the government's is right/wrong?

Anyhow, if you are born IS, you are usuallt presenting as one gender or the other.  Personally, I choose the gender I'm presenting as.  For androgynes, it would probably be their birth sex.

I am androgyne or neither, and I dislike having to check my birth sex. I usually leave it blank, but there are online forms that won't allow you to continue unless you check one. I'd like to see an "other" option.

I've always been tempted to answer "yes" when they ask my sex.  No, I've never done it. But I sure would like to!

Living in this world requires some patience, especially if you want to be happy   I myself am pretty comfortable not worrying about things that are designed without me in mind.  Of course someone needs to do something about it some day, but when they do, I hope we are not represented with outrage, for it is simply not outrageous.

As we speak, the US government is considering redesigning all paper money for the blind.  Most other countries already have their paper money in different sizes to help reflect the note's value.  Obviously, this does not help the transgendered community specifically, but it does benefit my point.  Progress is being made all over the place, and just because its helping someone else doesnt make it any less important.  If progress is what you want to see, just look around.  But dont limit your view to where you are concerned.  Give it some (read: alot of) time.

I myself would be tickled pink to see "other" along with male and female on an application, but its only of symbollic importance
