Quote from: insideontheoutside on December 30, 2010, 05:45:41 PMAs Vexing says the penis and the clitoris are very much alike ... behold ...."The penis forms after a bodily response to testosterone washes inutero during weeks 9-20 of pregnancy (prior to the 9th week, male and female gonads inutero are identical and the penis and clitoris form from the same tissues - they are analogous and homologous organs). Up to about Week 12, the clitoris and penis look the same to the naked eye as well - they are indeed 'the same' organ."Male (left) - female (right) at 11 weeks gestationAnd to Dominick_81, if it's any consolation, a girl I dated back in college initially though I just had a slightly smaller penis the first time we fooled around.
Quote from: Nikolai_S on December 30, 2010, 10:51:19 PMDominick, those pics aren't of a micropenis/enlarged clitoris, they're of the genitals of fetuses in early development. Those are what everybody has in the first 12 weeks of fetal development. Don't worry, that's not what you'd get on T, at all.An enlarged clit doesn't come out of the vagina, it's above it. It won't look like the pics. It looks (to me) like a small uncircumcised penis.
Quote from: Dominick_81 on December 30, 2010, 10:59:23 PMOh okay good, cause that really freaked me out. Are there any pics of what an enlarge clit looks like? I wanna see what I'll be getting so I can try to make myself comfortable with what I'll growing down there.

Quote from: Nygeel on December 31, 2010, 04:37:45 AMI've been on T a little over a month and I'm at a little over 2.5 inches. There are cisgender males/men that are smaller than I am. I can masturbate more like a "male." I can do SOME penetration with it but nothing substantial. Testosterone made me more mentally comfortable with my genitals. Since figuring out I was trans I've been using "male" language to describe my genitals, also made me feel better about what I got.@ Jet-Ffuel T actually calmed me down, mellowed me out. No mood swings. That's good to hear because most of the time you do get mood swings. It is all depending on your bodys chemical make up. If you are already a low key individual then nothing is really going to happen.

If you are already a low key individual then nothing is really going to happen. The mood swing thing is related to dosage and timing. FTMs who take an appropriate dosage to hit the "middle" range of normal guy testosterone levels (including free) mostly find taking T to be calming and/or stablilizing of moods, not creating or exacerbating mood swings. YMMV, but stabizing is far more common than mood swings.Doctors monitor your trough to make sure you're not dropping too low, and if you are someone who does have mood swings at that point, the solution is using to inject more often (every week or 10 days instead of every 2 weeks) or to switch to gel, which has a more stable drug delivery.
